Gretsch Billy Bo Jupiter Thunderbird

My boyfriend's favorite guitar of the moment is the Gretsch Billy Bo Jupiter Thunderbird, because it's such an unusual shape and, with its hollow body, it screams when under load through a heavily cranked amp driving the tubes into oblivion.

We went to a ZZ Top concert in Verona NY in 2007 and watched the Reverend Billy G do the entire concert bar one song (Reserved for Pearly) on the faithful Billy Bo.

Very impressed with this guitar. Bought it to sell, but haven't had the heart to do so yet. He gets attached to these axes for some reason.

I Love Music

I love music so much. I love listening to my boyfriend play his guitar. I love listening to beautiful music and dancing. I have tried to play an instrument, but I am not very good. I like to sing, but I'm not too good at that, either. But music deeply affects me!

I cannot believe how many guitars my boyfriend has and all of the different kinds: gibson, fender, gretsch, baldwin, burns ... you name it. He even has an electric mandolin. Now we've got to work on that banjo.

I learned to play the baurin (bodhran?) and bones, well, kind of. And kind of the penny whistle. Maybe I should stick to the dancing!
